Former Juventus GM Jean-Claude Blanc was at Old Trafford yesterday.
The Frenchman is now part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS and has been linked with the chief exec's job at Manchester United as a replacement for the departing Richard Arnold.
Ratcliffe's purchase of 25% of the club is still to be completed and is not going to be done next week.
However, it is understood there are no significant issues.
Along with Blanc, also meeting at Old Trafford was Sir David Brailsford.
