Former Lazio sports director Igli Tare denies he and coach Maurizio Sarri didn't get along.
It's been claimed Tare left the job last season after not seeing eye-to-eye with Sarri.
But he told Cronache di Spogliatoio: "I had no problems with him.
"Everyone has their own way of seeing life. We tried to get along. We all contribute for the better of the club. Last year, if I find myself in second/third place after 6 months, I can't say that fighting for the Champions League isn't the main objective.
"I didn't want to go against Sarri, it was normal. Things should be seen in a more positive rather than negative way. If the team has the ability to reach certain objectives, I want to stay there all the way."
