Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson must improve his level to stay in the team.

The attacking midfielder is not showing his best qualities this season, especially since the World Cup.

Now ex-Leeds star Matthew Kilgallon has harsh words for a player who has just one goal involvement since the winter break.

"I like him. But for the first 10 minutes, he started pretty sloppily to be honest, gave the ball away. And I think the fans did actually notice that," he told BBC Radio Leeds.

"But one thing about him, he gives 100 percent, doesn't he. He's busy, he's there. But I think you need more.

He's going to end up losing the shirt because there's people there now waiting to go play."
