Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been warned that he has to solve his left-back problem.
The German head coach has lost Andy Robertson for at least a couple of months.
The Scotland international suffered a shoulder injury while on international duty.
Now club legend and ex-captain Sami Hyypia has stated that Klopp has a huge decision to make regarding understudy Kostas Tsimikas.
"I think he will get a lot of responsibility now and he has his chance to show what kind of player he is," Hyypia said at a Nike Game On initiative.
"Hopefully he is courageous and takes his chance.
If that is not going to work then Jurgen (Klopp) needs to think of something else to solve the problem but I have confidence in Tsimikas that he can do the job."
