Former Liverpool and Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho is in talks to continue his career in Brazil.
Sakho is a free agent after being released from his contract at Montpellier. His deal was terminated after a training ground bust-up with coach Michel Der Zakarian.
Simpsio Esportivo na Amaznia is reporting Sakho is very close to joining Brazilian Serie B club Amazonas FC.
Negotiations would even be '90 per cent advanced' over a one-year contract.
Sakho has joined MHSC in 2021.
