Former Manchester United winger Indy Boonen is on his way to Qatar.
Boonen is a free agent after coming off contract at KV Oostende at the end of last season.
The Belgium U21 attacker is set to sign with Al Waeb.
Boonen wasn't short of major interest from across Europe, but is ready to continue his career in Qatar.
Despite interest from Benfica who seemed ready to give him a chance, as well as Standard Lige and Metz, he is now ready to fly to Qatar.
