Former Manchester United winger Bojan Djordjic has demanded an apology from Sweden coach Janne Andersson after the pair were involved in a bitter row live on air.
Andersson, 60, appeared on Viaplay's coverage of his side's 5-0 win over Azerbaijan on Monday night.
Pundit Djordjic asked Andersson about Jesper Karlsson's lack of game time across the international break - after the AZ Alkmaar ace received just eight minutes of action in two matches.
And the question prompted a furious response from Andersson, who accused Djordjic of "whining" before controversially asking the ex-winger "who do you represent?"
Djordjic, 41, was born in Belgrade, Serbia, but represented Sweden's national teams at youth level.
He responded to Andersson: "Sweden, of course, why wouldn't I? What kind of thing is this then? Are you going to say something else?"
According to Expressen, Djordjic later demanded an apology during Viaplay's coverage.
He said: "Should I constantly excuse myself? Should I have my own say? I have people who have my back and know what I stand for. But this. I will have an excuse.
"If those with Petra Thoren, who is the press manager, listen and check through it, they should not make up any sentence other than an excuse for how to behave. I will never apologise for who I am."
Quizzed in the press conference if he had insinuated that Djordjic does not represent Sweden, Andersson said: "Never in hell."
