Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis says manager Erik ten Hag should put results ahead of performance.
The Russian insists his old team should only worry about style once they're leading the table.
He told RB Sport: "They will play well when they are in first place. This is the philosophy of the club: Manchester United have only one goal - the championship. But, of course, there is progress in the game, but progress should bring the final result."
On a top four finish this season, Kanchelskis says that should be the target.
He added, "Of course, compared to last season, it would be nice."
