Former Napoli coach Alberto Bigon is delighted for Luciano Spalletti and the current team.
Bigon led Napoli to the Scudetto 33 years ago.
After last night's success, Bigon told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Spalletti and his Napoli, winning with five games to spare, they did a feat that will be remembered, just as ours is remembered.
"Removing three roosters from the henhouse like Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Kalidou Koulibaly was the winning move and allowed the youngsters to express themselves to the fullest.
"In my opinion they can open a winning cycle. They could have gone further in Europe already this year. Maybe that will happen next season."
