Former Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche admits Maurizio Zamparini was no fan of Bryan Cristante.

Zamparini passed away this year and Micciche says the Rosanero's former owner was unhappy with Roma attacker Cristante.

Micciche said, “He hated a player, Cristante, he didn't want him on the pitch. After Genoa-Palermo he told me go to the dressing room and tell the coach that if he doesn't take Cristante off, he'll be fired.

“In the end Palermo drew that game and Cristante stayed on the pitch. Then in the end Zamparini's anger lasted an hour after the game."

Micciche was speaking at the book launch of, 'Ambition, Passion, Vision'.
