Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admits he covets the France job.
However, he won't lobby for the post with Didier Deschamps in place.
Zidane said, "On several occasions I have said that it is logical to think that when you have been in the French National Team as a player, you will later become a coach. But this is not the time.
"I love what I do and I am able to work hard, but from time to time, and I've already done it twice, I need to take a break. Now I just enjoy life. I have time to visit my parents if I want, have lunch with my wife and children while I am in Madrid and spend time with my friends. All of this is only possible if you step back.
"My life always goes at great speed, but now I feel renewed."
