Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Santiago Canizares has slammed Manchester City's Ederson.
Canizares was unimpressed by City keeper Ederson for their 1-1 draw at Real Madrid in the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal.
He told Radio Marca: "It was a very even match, where the two teams have a lot of respect for each other. They suffer and they know how to suffer. In knowing how to compete, Real Madrid does one thing very well, which is to change the script and start defending very well."
On Vini Jr's goal, Canizares continued: "I don't think Ederson will eat it. It's a ball with great difficulty. What happens is that we are used to seeing better goalkeepers than Ederson, who is not among the top 5 in the world.
"Many people wonder if City shouldn't have a better goalkeeper."\
"The merit of the match was that Real Madrid, accustomed to attacking and having more possession than the rival, when it's their turn to make another performance they do it perfectly. Haaland didn't find spaces."
