Refereeing chief Howard Webb has been told to sack Lee Mason after the VAR forgot to draw offside lines in a recent game.
Mason was the VAR in the Arsenal vs. Brentford game in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Gunners could have won the game 1-0, but for a Brentford equalizer being allowed, despite a Bees player being offside.
Per the Daily Mail, Mason forgot to even use the lines they are meant to put up to see if a player is offside.
If he had done so, Christian Norgaard would have been flagged as offside, and the goal chalked off.
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett wrote in the Telegraph: Lee, a serial offender, had already been stood down once this season for a human error and I don't think this is good enough one of the first things Howard (Webb) needs to do is fire him.
Lee would be towards the bottom in the list of best performers. He has seemingly passed the point of requiring operational assistance, he doesn't have a place any more."
