Nemanja Matic has explained leaving Roma for Rennes.
The veteran left Roma for the Ligue 1 club last week.
"Ever since I received the first call from Rennes, I have felt a positive energy," explained Matic. "The project they explained to me and showed me is what attracted me to come here.
"The club is growing and I'm happy to be a part of it. In my career I've played against some French teams, I played a lot of time in England and then I signed for Roma where I was for a year.
"I'm very happy to be able to play here, I can't wait to start and I'm happy for this new adventure".
