Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has 'turned down' an offer from Leeds United.
The Argentinian has been lablled as the fan-favourite to take over at Elland Road but has now declined an offer proposed to him by the club.
The caption, from a tweet by Portuguese journalist Claudio Mauri, reads: "Leeds went in search of Gallardo , but did not even reach Mueco, whose environment let the club know that he would not lead until June. Pochettino also turned down Leeds' offer."
Pochettino will be remembered by most fans for his time in the Premier League with Tottenham as well as Southampton before leaving Spurs, after which he managed Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
