Former Uruguay U20 coach Marcelo Broli is happy seeing Fede Valverde succeeding at Real Madrid.
The midfielder played for Broli as a junior at the U20 World Cup and is now a first-choice with Real.
He told Marca: "I think he is a fantastic player who proves it game by game and we have a Class A player who plays for one of the most important teams in the world.
"That is a tremendous source of pride for Uruguay.
"He has impressive physical health, he looks like he has a good career ahead of him, he has many years left at the top level and that makes all of us Uruguayans very happy."
