Former Germany international Didi Hamann believes Thilo Kehrer is an astute signing by West Ham United.
The 25-year-old sealed a summer transfer to West Ham from PSG, in a deal worth £10m.
Kehrer was a prodigious talent in his native Germany, having come through the ranks at Schalke before PSG paid £33m in 2018.
Life at West Ham did not get off to the best of starts for Kehrer after he gave away a penalty on his Premier League debut against Brighton.

But Hamann has ensured West Ham fans that Kehrer has what it takes to become a 'very good player'.
"He certainly brings a lot to West Ham, he's a good defender who is very quick," Hamann told TribalFootball.com, on behalf of FreeSuperTips.
"I think it'll be important for him to have a set position because we've seen that he can play across the back four.
"But I do think going forward he is limited, but as a centre-back he could turn out to be a very good player.
"He's physically strong, he's very quick and he certainly gives West Ham options at the back."

Kehrer will be hoping for a solid campaign at the London Stadium.
Capped 20 times by Germany, Kehrer will be working hard to ensure he is selected by Hansi Flick for this year's World Cup.
