Express Bus Crashes And Burns Along PLUS Highway

A bus carrying 17 express bus passengers including a child faced a moment of distress when the vehicle they were in suddenly caught fire at Kilometer 195.9 Highway PLUS southbound (near Malacca) on Thursday last week.

It is understood that the incident happened when the rear tyre of a bus traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Johor was believed to catch fire before the vehicle lost control and crashed and hit the road divider.

Survey at the site found that there was a congestion for more than five kilometers southbound following a part of the road being closed for firefighting operations
