Kota Kinabalu: FORMER Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee said Sabahans should be proud that a Sabah newspaper, Daily Express, succeeded in bringing Sabah’s biggest public interest issue to the public domain again after 45 years, culminating in a landmark court decision two years later in 2023.
“As this is a matter of extreme public interest and considering that the government has nothing to hide, I hope the government will also not delay any further the publication of the investigation report by appealing against the High Court order,” he said.
“Personally and as a Sabahan who has been a subject of litigation 13 years ago on the issue, I am delighted that we are a big step closer to the truth and facts of the cause of the Nomad air crash,” said the Nominated Assemblyman.
