KUNAK: The need to construct a new Native Court (MAN) building here will be given attention, in line with the institution’s function in performing duties or matters related to customary law.
State Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said the Kunak Native Court is currently housed in the old District Office building and the Government saw the need to have a new building.
“We want to have a proper and conducive place for the Native Court staff to work. We need to take care of the Native Court so that it is held in high esteem,” he said after visiting the Kunak Native Court Office and attending a meeting with its staff, Tuesday.
