PETALING JAYA: Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd’s (F&N) net profit for the fourth quarter ended Sept 30, 2026 (Q4’26) rose 18.2% to RM135.05 million from RM114.29 million a year earlier, despite a 3.1% decline in revenue to RM1.19 billion from RM1.23 billion.
The higher quarterly earnings came as profit before tax remained broadly stable at RM169.42 million, compared with RM169.07 million in the corresponding quarter last year, while lower tax expenses lifted the group’s profit after tax by 16.3% to RM137.26 million.
For the full financial year ended Sept 30, 2026 (FY2026), net profit fell 14% to RM437.09 million from RM508.47 million, while revenue declined 5.3% to RM4.92 billion from RM5.20 billion.
Operating profit decreased 13.6% to RM644.25 million, while profit before tax fell 14.4% to RM625.44 million.
F&N said its full-year performance reflected higher costs associated with strategic investments, particularly F&N AgriValley, lower contributions from its Food and Beverages Indochina operations amid continued border disruptions affecting sales to Cambodia, and unfavourable foreign exchange translation effects.
Its Food and Beverages Malaysia division recorded a 3.3% increase in full-year revenue to RM3.06 billion, supported by stronger domestic sales of beverages, water and dairy products.
However, operating profit for the division declined 28.3% to RM200.87 million, mainly due to higher operating costs as F&N AgriValley continued to stabilise ahead of further expansion.
Meanwhile, revenue from its Food and Beverages Indochina division fell 16.6% to RM1.86 billion amid border disruptions affecting sales to Cambodia, subdued economic conditions and softer tourism activity in Thailand. Operating profit dropped to RM355.04 million from RM474.62 million.
The group also recognised a RM90.49 million pre-tax gain from the disposal of its 50% equity interest in Vacaron Company Sdn Bhd during FY2026.
Looking ahead, F&N said it would focus on strengthening its core businesses, improving operational efficiency and progressively scaling up its strategic investments.
F&N AgriValley recorded milk yields of 30 litres per cow per day, while its Cambodian manufacturing facility commenced local production of Gold Coin sweetened creamer in October 2026.
The board proposed a final single-tier dividend of 30 sen per share for FY26, compared with 35 sen a year earlier, amounting to approximately RM110 million.
Total dividends for FY26 will amount to 60 sen per share, representing a total payout of RM220 million.
