British Formula One star Lando Norris drove a lego-built life size replica of the McLaren P1 super car around Silverstone circuit.

Norris, who is currently fighting reigning champion Max Verstappen for the F1 championship, has benefited from his McLaren race car being one of the most reliable on the grid this year.

The car at Silverstone features 342,817 Lego Technic elements combined with an electric motor, coming in at a weight of 1,220kg.

The build process required 23 Lego group and McLaren Automotive specialists a total of 8,344 hours of development and construction.
