Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard says teammate Karim Benzema should be playing for France.
Benzema hasn't played for France since before the 2016 Euros after being caught up in an alleged blackmail plot.
Hazard says: "Ah, these are French problems. Me, I can judge only on the performances. And in this area, it is not normal that Karim is not called. And I'm not saying that to please him or because he's my teammate.
"Karim is the best current striker: he scores, he plays in the best club in the world ... The France team is already strong without Karim. With him, it would be even more so.
"If the attack (Antoine) Griezmann - (Karim) Benzema - (Kylian) Mbapp would be unplayable? For now, there is (Olivier) Giroud and he does the job well too. But for us, Belgians, it's better that there is no Benzema."
