Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has confirmed they're in talks to sign Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.
De Laurentiis admits their interest has moved to the next stage.
He said, "No-one's ever said that James isn't right for us. On the contrary, there's a deep respect between him and Carlo Ancelotti.
However, there are agents to deal with, then there are his family and Real Madrid, so we'll have to see if he comes.
We have so many ongoing negotiations; we need to focus on selling first. We have 40 players and so many need addressing."
