DEPUTY Prime Minister II Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusoff returned to the Cabinet meeting after undergoing heart bypass surgery and taking time off to recover.
Fadillah expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and fellow Cabinet members for their concern, prayers and support throughout his treatment.
“Alhamdulillah, today I had the opportunity to attend the Cabinet meeting again after undergoing heart bypass surgery and resting throughout my medical leave.
“I am very grateful and happy to be back with my Cabinet colleagues at today’s meeting,” he said in a statement.
Fadillah also expressed hope that all members of the Government would be blessed with good health and continued well-being, enabling them to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them to the best of their ability.- September 9, 2026
