KOTA KINABALU: Visual activist Fahmi Reza would be arrested on the spot for further investigation under the Sedition Act if he were to appear at the peaceful assembly against corruption tomorrow.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said they have received more than 30 complaints from all over Sabah urging action against him.
AdvertisementIn a press conference, he said some 800 officers and personnel will be on duty for the Carnival Ria event held coincidentally at Menara Kinabalu, where the assembly is supposed to take place, until the State Government's New Year's countdown celebrations.
