SANDAKAN: A 50-foot decorative tree fell and crushed a Perodua Kenari in front of Hotel Sandakan around 5.20pm on Tuesday, temporarily blocking the road.

Sandakan Civil Defence officer Capt. Sulaiman Salama said no casualties were reported.

Rescuers used three chainsaws to clear the road which reopened by 6.56pm.
