
MANILA, Philippines — The family of former Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. has released the schedule of his wake and interment.
De Venecia, also known as "JDV" and "Manong Joe," died on Tuesday at the age of 89.
In a social media card posted by his widow, Pangasinan 4th District Rep. Georgina Vera Perez-de Venecia, the former Speaker's remains will be laid in state at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City from from 1-10 p.m. on Feb. 11-13, with Masses at 7 p.m.
He will be then brought to the Simbahan na Bato Annunciation of the Lord Parish in his hometown of Dagupan City from Feb. 14-15.
The House of Representatives will be hosting their former leader on Feb.16 with memorial and necrological services before being brought back to Heritage for the wake until Feb. 17.
His remains will be interred at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Feb. 18.
