LAHAD DATU: The family of a 16-year-old student has lodged a police report over online allegations linking her to the case of the late Zara Qairina Mahathir.

Her father, Muhammad Yasim Abdul Samad, said his daughter transferred from SMK (A) Tun Datu Mustapha Limauan, Papar, to Lahad Datu Vocational College early this year.

He said the incident involving Zara occurred after his daughter had already left the school.

He urged the public to verify information before sharing it on social media to avoid causing harm to innocent individuals.
