
POLICE are searching for a family of six who were reported missing after they were believed to have left their home in Taman Orkid, Bentong, Pahang, since Monday.
Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar, said police received a report regarding the incident at 7.34 pm on March 30.
According to him, the 43-year-old complainant, who is also the husband and father of the individuals involved, informed that his wife, M Rekha, 41, and their five children were missing from home.
"The complainant discovered that on March 30 at about 6.30 am, all his family members were not at home.
"The last known address and location is at No. 120, Lorong 6, Taman Orkid, Bentong," he said in a statement reported by Harian Metro.
Zaiham said the couple's five children are S Ruban, 19; S Sharivina Nair, 17; S Shasini Nair, 16; S Pritivi Nair, 14; and S Lashwin Nair, 4.
He said the police are currently conducting investigations and efforts to trace all the individuals involved.
He requested the cooperation of the public who have any information regarding the whereabouts of the six family members to come forward to assist in the investigation.
"The public is asked to come to any nearby police station or contact the District Control Centre (DCC) of the Bentong District Police Headquarters at 09-2231999.
