Experience taught me whilst participating with Sejahtera Leadership Initiative (SLI) & Global Sejahtera (GS) programs and activities that significant family values are a thread that asily ties family education and spirituality together. It became clear to my wife, Zarina & I, and our eldest daughter, Izni Fauzan that we needed to reinforce the role & transcendence of family values in all stages of life cycle.
SLI & GS recognised that “parents have become more important than ever in determining the quality of a child's life.” The intentional parenting is necessary for instilling values in children through rituals, taking advantage of teaching moments, through the generativity of parents & grandparents. Values will be passed down from one generation to the next, parents need to display in the day-to-day life.
In view of our 12-year old eldest granddaughter, Iffah Faizah leaving home in mid-February to pursue for her secondary education and will be staying at a boarding school, we decided to travel to Jakarta in conjunction with Chinese New Year holidays for family vacation. It is Iffah's preferred choice of destination that seamlessly blends cultural diversity, family togetherness & variety of culinary offerings.
At the heart of the destination of course a favourite photo spot for the family togetherness. More than just an iconic cultural landmark, the attraction is a mesmerising visual experience, especially at night, when artistic lightings fuses traditional and modern elements.

Beyond exploring culinary delights, we can create warm moments of togetherness with our family, friends and the community.
We enjoyed the amazing cultural diversity which is well demonstrated throughout the destination, with a lineup of events & thematic performances to enliven the atmoshere. From indigenous dances to food festivals that celebrate Indonesia's cool rich cultural heritage.
