“We’re deeply grateful for the unexpected love that the first season received”, said producers Kim Hak-min and Kim Eun-ji as they announce the second season of the global hit survival cooking show ‘Culinary Class Wars’.
The second season will premiere on Netflix on December 16th.
“We have poured our hearts into crafting the second season to meet the audiences expectations. We hope viewers will affectionately cheer on all the chefs.”
For the upcoming season, the show will tackle the same cool concept of underdogs vs experienced chefs, with contestants from Korean to Western, Chinese, Japanese and fusion cuisines.
‘Culinary Class Wars’ Season 1, is the first Korean reality show to top Netflix’s global Top 10 non-English TV chart for three consecutive weeks and it has won major awards in Korea, a first time ever for an unscripted show.
