- A security alert has caused a delay to Nigel Farage’s main stage address, party sources have indicated.
- Following searches conducted beneath the stage by security personnel, sources inside Reform stated that "counter terror cops won't let him on stage".
- Security officers accompanied by a sniffer dog gathered behind the scenes at the Reform UK party conference in Birmingham, where main hall activities remain halted ahead of Mr Farage’s scheduled appearance.
- Attendees were told by former party chairman David Bull that sessions in the primary hall were temporarily suspended as a result of "unforeseen circumstances".
- The delay comes after the Reform UK leader attributed allegations that his party breached political donation regulations, by accepting polling funded by a foreign company, to mere "loose pub talk".
