Fatal Clash Unfolds: Man Beaten to Death in Rawang Backyard Dispute

In a heart-wrenching turn of events in Sungai Choh, Rawang, Selangor, a fatal altercation claimed the life of a man. The tragic incident unfolded during a heated argument between the victim, his girlfriend’s brother, and two others, ultimately resulting in the victim's demise. The chilling discovery took place when the victim's body was found buried amidst undergrowth in the backyard of the girlfriend's family home.

Acting Gombak District Police Chief, Supt Ariffin Mohamad Nasir, shed light on the sequence of events. The confrontation erupted around 11 am as the victim, accompanied by his girlfriend and others, visited the residence to discuss the dynamics of his relationship with the girl. Later in the day, at approximately 5 pm, a family member, aged 27, overheard a conversation hinting at the burial of a body. Promptly, she alerted the authorities at 11:25 pm, divulging the disturbing information.

In response to the woman's tip-off, law enforcement swiftly moved to the scene, apprehending three siblings, including a female, for further interrogation. The suspects, aged between 29 and 33, have been remanded for seven days, with investigations underway pursuant to Section 302 of the Penal Code, categorizing the incident as murder.

The investigative efforts escalated with the deployment of the Tracker Dog Unit (K9) to aid in locating the victim's remains. The solemn process of exhuming the body commenced at 5 am, and the body was transported to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for a detailed autopsy. Concurrently, a manhunt has been initiated for four individuals suspected of involvement, notably including the victim's girlfriend.
