The father of Wolves striker Fabio Silva denies he left Anderlecht due to a row with Brian Riemer.
Silva cut short his loan with Anderlecht last week before joining PSV Eindhoven in a similar deal. It had been claimed Silva's motivation was due to not seeing eye-to-eye with newly-appointed head coach Riemer.
But his father, Jorge Silva, told DH: "Who declared in the Belgian press that there was a discussion [with the coach]? We didn't do it either and I don't think it came from within the club, making my son look like a bad boy.
"I cannot accept that lies are spread about Fbio. My son is not perfect, but he is a good boy.
"The club assured us that (Felice) Mazz was the best coach in Belgium, with the same attacking ideas as Kompany. So we signed. The first two months lived up to our expectations. Although the team didn't always play well, they won and Fbio scoring. Then things started to go wrong and Anderlecht changed coaches again.
"Suddenly the game system changed. Fbio was alone on an island. His first task was to defend instead of thinking about scoring goals.
"About this, Riemer said that maybe separation would be better. It's like a relationship. If a marriage no longer works, you have to get a divorce. Fbio thanked the coach. It was a mature conversation."
