Brighton are set to be without youngsters Ansu Fati and Tariq Lamptey for several months.
The duo will be absent for around three months to increase the club's injury crisis.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi has been unable to field a settled team due to the issue.
Both on-loan Barcelona star Fati and Ghana defender Lamptey both came off during their win over Nottingham Forest recently.
Now the Albion are preparing to take on AEK Athens on Thursday in the Europa League.
If they win, the Albion will seal qualification for the knockout stages of the competition.
