Kota Kinabalu: The Federal Attorney-General’s appeal against leave given to the Sabah Law Society (SLS) regarding the State’s 40-percent special grant has been dismissed, said the SLS today.

Full grounds for the dismissal will be available by 2pm today, said the SLS on Facebook, adding the substantive hearing of the judicial review will be heard by the High Court.

The Federal AG was appealing the High Court's decision on Nov 11, 2022 to grant leave to SLS for judicial review against the Federal Government's failure to conduct a review of the 40-percent special grant due to Sabah under the Federal Constitution.
