PETALING JAYA: The Federal Court has denied Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s bid to postpone his SRC International appeal, with Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat stating that the appeal must proceed as scheduled, FMT reports.

Earlier today, lead counsel Hisyam Teh Poh Teik pleaded for four months to prepare for his client’s final appeal in the SRC International case at the Federal court.

He requested for an adjournment to the hearing of the appeal after stating that he needed time to prepare as he had just being appointed as lead counsel for the case.

To this, Tun Tengku Maimun reportedly said:“We will start the appeal (hearing) on Thursday”
