Kota Kinabalu: More than 2,000 federal civil servants attended the Federal Civil Servants meeting with Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, on Saturday.

Distinguished guests included Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly Datuk Seri Panglima Kadzim M. Yahya and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties), Datuk Armizan Ali.

Also present were Director General of the Malaysian Public Service Datuk Dr Zulkapli Mohamed, State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Sr. Safar Untong and the Sabah Federal Secretary, Datuk Makhzan Mahyuddin who is also the executive chairman of the ceremony.

In the same event, a presentation of the Nur Jauhar Foundation’s donation to 24 orphans from Homes Tuaran was also held which was presented by its Chairman, Brigadier General Datuk Al-Hambra Juhar.

The event was enlivened by Raya songs from the Royal Malaysian Navy Arts Agency (TLDM) of the Eastern Fleet.

Among the heads of departments present were from the Royal Malaysian Police, Sabah Malaysian Treasury, Cocoa Board, Chemical Department, Prisons Department, Civil Defence Department, National Audit Department and Sabah State Information Department.
