
Kota Kinabalu: The Federation of Chinese Associations (FCAS) Sabah’s Women Division will be organising the International Women’s Day at Wisma Hakka on March 8.
The event aims to raise awareness on women’s contributions to society and recognise their abilities and capabilities in dealing with family and work life, said Organising Chairwoman Sherley Wong.
“More women should be encouraged to join the workforce to explore their talents and potential.
“They can contribute to society as well as nation-building,” said Sherley.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be contributed to Yayasan Nur Jauhar to help the needy.
Tickets are priced at RM180 per person and Sherley calls on the public to support the charity cause.
