Federico Bernardeschi is excited to have signed for Toronto FC.
The Italy midfielder moves to Toronto in a free transfer from Juventus.
In MLS he will have the opportunity to challenge former Juve teammate and good friend Giorgio Chiellini, now of Inter Miami.
Bernardeschi said: "Giorgio is my brother, I love him. It will obviously be difficult to play against him, but ... Who knows. Maybe I play against him and... score (laughs).
"Did the arrival of (Mimmo) Criscito and (Lorenzo) Insigne convince me to choose Toronto? I'm happy that they are here but they didn't influence my decision: I understood the project and I chose to come to Toronto because I fell in love with the city, the people who work here and this for me goes beyond every aspect."
