KINABATANGAN: Felcra Berhad recorded total profits of RM297 million from all Consolidation and Rehabilitation Projects nationwide as of August 2025.
From this, an interim distributable profit of RM207 million for 2025 will benefit 76,694 participants involved in 775 profitable projects across the country.
Deputy Prime Minister and Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said payments will be made in stages beginning 1 November through Felcra branches nationwide.
He also noted that the government has allocated RM24.16 billion under the 12th Malaysia Plan (2021–2025) for Sabah’s rural development through agencies such as KKDW, SLDB and LIGS.
He made these remarks in a speech delivered by Felcra Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub, during the interim profit distribution announcement ceremony here on Saturday.
At the same event, cheques were presented to Felcra participants in Sabah along with education and mosque contributions, with Zahid commending Felcra as a model rural development agency.
