KUNAK: A 38-year-old female pillion rider died on the spot after the motorcycle she was riding on was hit by a Proton X70 at Km 10, Jalan Kunak-Tawau, on Monday.
Kunak District Police Chief Supt Sabarudin Rahmat identified the deceased as Rina Samo, an Indonesian.
He said the motorcyclist, 39, who is the deceased’s husband, was injured in the hand and leg. Their seven-year-old son who was also riding pillion suffered injuries to the head and face.
