Bruno Fernandes has declared he is ready to stay with Manchester United.

However, the club captain admits he hopes they can match his own "ambitions".

He told the Players' Tribune: "I love stepping out at Old Trafford more than anything else in the world. I don't want to leave the club.

"It has always been my ultimate dream.

"I just want my expectations to match the club's expectations. And if you talk to any fan, they'll say the same thing. We will fight for the title. We want to play the Champions League. We will be in cup finals. It is the standard, it goes on."

Fernandes' deal runs to 2026 with the option of another year.
