Manchester United have beaten Lyon to the signing of Feyenoord fullback Tyrell Malacia.
United boss Erik ten Hag previously tried to sign the 22-year-old for Ajax although Feyenoord resisted the move because of the rivalry between the two sides.
Malacia appeared to be on his way to Lyon this week before United's late intervention.
Feyenoord chief Frank Arnesen has confirmed United's offer had been accepted.
He said, "The agreement is there.
"We are now waiting for Tyrell. If he says yes, then a transfer to Manchester United is imminent."
