Feyenoord coach Arne Slot admits he wants the Liverpool job.
Slot has confirmed talks over a compensation fee are underway between the two clubs.
Before last night's 3-1 win against Go Ahead Eagles, Slot said: "It seems clear to me that I would like to work there.
All I can say about it is that the clubs are in negotiations. I'm in the waiting room."
Slot added he was "confident" of reaching a deal.
