Feyenoord defender David Hancko says he's happy for Arne Slot over his move to Liverpool.
Hancko has played his best football for the former Feyenoord coach.
He told Sport: "I wish him the best and I think he is destined for success. The fact that he was even at Feyenoord this season came was a bit of a surprise to me because he is excellent.
"I can't say he changed my view football, but I can only thank him for what he has taught me over the past two years."
Hancko himself also seems ready for a move and was asked whether he will go to Liverpool with Slot.
"We joked about that," the centre back said of his agent Branislav Jasurek. "If I were to play for one of the best clubs in the world and under him (Slot), that would of course be a dream for me."
