Feyenoord fullback Quilindschy Hartman has revealed Chelsea have been in contact.

Hartman admits he resisted an approach from Chelsea in January and they've since been in touch after he suffered a knee injury.

He told Goedemorgen Eredivisie: I don't think they want me now, but they did want me.

They came to Feyenoord last winter break, but I actually didn't want it at that time. Because I had only just broken through, I had just started playing everything for six months, the European Championship that was coming up with the Dutch national team.

It was also clear from Feyenoord, we were open to it in the summer, but not now. Chelsea really wanted me and I was certainly open to it, but unfortunately things have turned out differently now."

On the knee injury, Hartman added: Chelsea wished me strength and said that the interest will not stop."
