Fiat Panda crashes into luxury jet as plane taxis for takeoff

A Fiat Panda crashed into a luxury plane as it was taxiing towards a runway at an airport in Italy.

Footage shows the white car, operated by Milan Linate Airport’s handling company, smashing into the business jet on Monday morning (10 August).

The vehicle cut across the aircraft’s path before ploughing into the plane’s nose.

No physical injuries were reported.

A Milan Airports spokesperson said: “Operations have been restored and flights are operating as scheduled. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank passengers for their understanding.”

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is underway.
