LAHAD DATU: Films based on actual incidents in our country, such as “Takluk”, can serve as a platform to raise public awareness about the importance of safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.

Silam Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) Deputy Chief Mohd Syafiq Iqhmal Saharudin said that such films could also be a medium for the public to understand the events that had taken place.

He said that with a film like “Takluk”, the public could witness the “real” situation that occurred during the terrorist intrusion in Lahad Datu and Semporna.

“Previously, people only heard about and learned of the incident through stories or news reports, but now they can ‘see’ what happened with this film.
